It makes me happy! I will be posting some of the songs that I love to listen to get me going in the morning to start my day off as well as for a cup of orange juice...wink wink

This or That

Living a healthy lifestyle has become a lot harder than people think. If you are already making the right choices with food that is probably good but if not then it can be quite difficult at first. I am guilty to say that I break the rules all the time. I crave something sweet and go for the sweets and etc. I will be giving you some healthier options to pick from when you are craving something in particular whether is a sweet tooth, something salty or crunchy.

Just For Kicks

So, I've been in the search for some new running buddies. I currently own some Reebok that I need to replace. I decided to go with Nike because I've heard so many good things about their sneakers.

I haven't been so athletic since I was in Junior High. I really want to get back in the habit of being a runner how I used to because running has always been very calming to me.

Anyways moving on...I've been eyeing the Nike Free Run 3 and love them. I tried on a few at a local shoe store but haven't found a color that I really like. After all sneakers are an investment for your feet :) Instead I decided to customize my own online and came up with a few that I think I like, but I'm still very undecided. This is were ya'll come in. Help me choose and let me know which ones you think would be cute.

Healthy Snacks

It is normal to get hungry in between meals. Satisfy your cravings between meals with healthy, low-calorie snacks. What's so awesome about these snacks is that they are easy to take with you to the office or school. Pick two treats each day to satisfy your belly.

Dark Chocolate:
Dark chocolate decreases blood pressure in overweight adults, according to new research.Consuming just a small amount of this snack can increase blood flow to your skin, making it softer, smoother, and more resistant to sun damage.

Whole Grains:
Did you know that you  need at least 130 grams a day to keep your memory and concentration sharp. Try whole grains high in fiber, to give you energy throughout the day.

Low-Fat Dairy
Not only do you need calcium in your body but calcium can help maintain bone mass when you are trying to lose weight.

Nuts:
Snacking on nuts may help you shed pounds. This snack is been said by researchers that slims down the waistline and reduces body fat throughout.
